Terms & Conditions

Rose City Travel & Tourism will process your reservation request as quickly as possible, and send you an e-mailed confirmation of your selected tour along with an invoice for the program including all requested add-on services. A down payment of 50% is due upon confirmation to secure your booking. This down payment, less an administrative fee of $50, is refundable if the program is cancelled by you more than 60 days prior to arrival. If the program is cancelled by you more than 30 days prior to arrival, a refund of 25% of the down payment will be made.

Full payment for the tour is required 14 days prior to arrival. A 50% refund will be made if the program is cancelled by you more than 7 days before arrival. No refund will be made for cancellations after that point.

Travel Insurance is the responsibility of the client. Personal accident insurance must be obtained by the client prior to commencing the tour.

Detailed passport information must be provided on your reservation form. Entry to Jordan requires that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date. Please note--clients booking a Damascus extension must be certain that their passport contains no evidence of travel to Israel. US passport holders are required to obtain a Syrian visa from the consulate in their country of residence. Rose City Travel will not be held liable for damage or loss arising from failure to supply accurate passport information.

Program changes. Rose City Travel reserves the right to vary or modify the described tour program as local conditions require. Every effort will be made to assure that total content of the touring program is achieved whenever possible. Suitable substitutions will be made in accordance with prevailing conditions. This requirement covers changes necessitated by force majeur, weather conditions and the alteration of attraction opening/closing hours. For instance, all access to the Dead Sea area is restricted during the World Economic Forum, so touring programs would require amendment during this period. Similarly, changes to trekking programs are necessary from time to time because of heavy rains in the valleys, creating a danger of flash flooding. Hotel changes because of overbooking or local conditions will be made to a suitable hotel of the same or superior classification.

Participant ages. If you're planning to visit Jordan as a family with younger children, we suggest you check out our Family Programs page for ideas, and then let us arrange a private tour for your family.
